Mozilla will release Marketplace for Application Developers

Many vendors have their own application store makes Mozilla also wants the same thing. The company has officially announced its own application store, Mozilla Marketplace, which is ready to be released and opened. Mozilla also said that it was ready to accept delivery of applications from developers at the event next week at MWC 2012.

Mozilla said that the developers who are interested to distribute their applications to any platform for their application should submit their applications to the store. Mozilla claims in their press conference that the application store app store will be an independent OS and first device based on open Web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.

This step seems to indicate a step ahead for Mozilla to release its own OS, which has been rumored, previously on the possibility the company, will introduce a mobile OS, Boot2Gecko at the upcoming MWC.
